Is it normal to have to make this decision

Me and my best friend recently auditioned for a Drama club (in wich we get to go to New York to porform in Brodway ) we both got in but she is mad at me because I got a higher rate than her in acting .im afraid of loosing my best friend but then again I don't want to loose track of what I want my future to be but I don't want to loose my best friend !!
What should I do?

  • If she is angry because you are doing well in what you want to succeed in, then she isn't much of a friend.

I agree. It's understandable for her to feel insecure, but she should see that it's inappropriate and deal with it instead of getting angry.

  • If she's really your best friend she will be happy for you. It's nice having people around who keep you on your toes. She should use this as an incentive to improve herself. :)

I see they've finally broken you. It's ok. It happens to all of us.
