Is it normal to have to impulsively sniff sharpies and expo markers?

Everytime I see a Sharpie or an Expo marker I have an urge to sniff it. I LOVE the smell and sometimes will just sit in my room sniffing them until they give me headaches. I've become sort of known for it at school, where I see Expo markers all of the time. I carry a huge Magnum Sharpie in my purse that smells like spray paint. Now that I'm talking about it, I'm probably going to get it out and sniff it. Is this normal?

    This is an inhalant. It is a kind if drug. It kills brain cells. Your lucky you haven't died yet. This is why you et headaches. You could die from one use of it.

    thats solvent abuse and its incredably dangerus as it can kill you instantly! i sugest you stop it now

    I used to do this in school, I'd smell the tips of permenant markers, not excessively, but I still really liked the smell. Also tippex, I used to get it out of my pencil case and smell it, but never to the point where I got headaches. I just really loved the smell!
