They are super sheltered and very socially retarded. They cant even tell when someone is hitting on them even when I noticed. Even when things are pointed out to them they still dont understand it. It is really frustrating to have to explain incredibly simple stuff all the time.

They're naive and not very perceptive those don't seem like deal breakers to me. It might be good for you both though, you might help them break out of their shell more and come into their own, while they might teach you to be more patient and understanding. You never know one day you might learn to appreciate them for who they are.
