I sit next to him in every class and we have become pretty good friends because I think he is funny and he thinks the same of me we even have multiple inside jokes I feel in love and I think he likes me but I'm not sure.
Listen to zoroaster. If its like a bestfriend, then you either have to shutup or put it on the table and hope for the best; but since this is still a growing relationship, you can CONTINUE to build on it. Once you guys get too comfortable it will become awkward af lol. Few tips:
1. Dont let "love" make you blind.
Not saying its impossible, but if you honestly can't see yourself in a public relationship with this person (make sure hes in your league)they probably cant see it either.
2. hint at hanging out sometime out of school and their reaction more than their answer will tell you if they are interested (if he starts smiling out of nowhere -> good; if he scratches back f head or hesitates to answer -> bad)
3. Guys love it when girls "start" it so let things get slightly physical every now & then. Im not saying be a slut but physical contact (poking, hugging, gentle rubs, etc.) gets the message across pretty well

Well if you think he feels the same way, like he's show signs or something like that, you should probably make a move or see if you all can hangout outside of class. Normal.
very normal . ive been through the same thing; just tell him . say " ____ , i love you, dude ." & if he says he doesnt like you like that just say "dude . i meant it in a friend way" so you're not too embarrassed . hope this helps :) <3
Hmm. Jumping right in and starting with "I love you" may be a bit much. Can you figure out a more subtle way to build your relationship? Like start hanging out outside of school? Progress to confessing that you LIKE one another? See how your friend responds to small physical things, like patting him/her on the shoulder while talking. If the person replicates your actions, it's a good sign. Oh yeah, and see if their pupils are dilated. That's good too.
If you wait to long to tell him someone else will get him. just come out and say " I think I might have felllings for you".
