Is it normal to have this tattoo?

I have the red hand of Ulster tattooed on my left peck and Johnny mad dog Adair's face tattooed on my back with UDA (Ulster Defence Association) above it and Is grá liom Éire (I love Ireland)underneath. The problem is i'm Scottish, not Irish. Is it normal?

  • I guess it's understandable if you really like Ireland.

Ah the joy of stereotypes and paradoxes. I figure we are what we are and we like what we like. I don't know that we owe it to other people to live up to their stereotypes of what we ought to be.

I'm a Colombian/American of Spanish, German, Welsh and Scot-Irish decent mostly and I always feel weird about my ethnicity. For instance I'm Roman Catholic and always wanted to be straight up Irish and Scottish instead of Scot-Irish so I would fit in better with other stereotypical American Catholics. Honestly, I love my Protestant ancestors because they're part of me. I don't know much about the whole thing with Catholics and Protestants in Ireland but isn't it somehow the fault of the English?

You cant have I love Ireland and the uda on your body.
The UDA are fully against Ireland, they call it northern ireland and will never refer to it as Ireland, they are SCUM!at the end of the day the ira is illegal but understandable the uk invaded ireland and the ira want it back, the uda think they rightfully own northern ireland
