Is it normal to have this sick feeling?

I keep on thinking in the back of my mind that something is going to happen to the population on this earth. Don't get me wrong I'm in no cult and find the 2012 thing interesting but hardly believable. It's just that when I look at history commonalities in prophecy especially in all religions, humanities greedy ways, and the number of natural disasters we are having I can't help bit wonder something big is just around the corner... Normal??? Do other people think this?

    We are all feeling it.. Expect it because it will happen

    And the " natural " disasters.. Arent natural
