Is it normal to have this opinion?
I'll be talking to people about music, and I'll ask, "Do you like the Red Hot Chili Peppers?". An ld they say they do, and I think, cool, some kids actually like good music these days. (I'm 13 by the way). Then I ask what songs by them they like, and they say "Dani California" or "Snow" or some shit like that. And I'm like, *facepalm*. I mean, seriously, that's not real Chili Peppers. I mean come on, that's one one of the greatest rock bands of history got all poppy and blah. They lost Flea's amazing bass slapping. They got all calm. I mean, come on, what about "Naked in the Rain", "Sir Psycho Sexy", "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", "Coffee Shop", "Aeroplane", "Fight Like a Brave", "Get Up and Jump", "Around the World" even. People just don't know true RHCP, and only a true fan would know they've been around for like 30 years. Come on, people need to know the true Chili Peppers. Anyone else feel this way?
