Is it normal to have this happen to my throat?

Okay, so I started having this weird issue about a year ago. It started out with the area under my chin being swollen and tender to the touch. I had fever as well. I went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotic. Then, in the back of my throat, near my tonsils, there formed several spheres that were pink and shiny. Some of these are white and look like pus pockets. But, mostly it looks like that skin back there has mutated, because these things will not come off. I've tried to get them off with cotton swabs, but to no avail. They hurt sometimes too and cause my neck to swell. I've also been more tired since this started. This has been going on continually for about a year and they've never went away. It's been worrying me.

See a doctor IMMEDIATELY this could be SEVERELY dangerous. I repeat: see a doctor IMMEDIATELY. Procrastination is NEVER a good thing ESPECIALLY now

Oh, and I just thought of this... This started happening after about a year of using Flonase. I've stopped using it since this weird throat problem.

    It's patient zero!

But seriously, you should seek medical help. This sounds like it can become a real health issue if gone un-treated.

    • Less likely but still possible. I had a friend where the fatigue affected her for a while.

not all doctors know everything. but you really need to try a different doctor that cam properly diagnose you issue. maybe a nose and throat specialists?

I did see a doctor when it first happened. He wasn't very informative. Even he didn't really know what it was.
