Is it normal to have this habit?

Is it normal that my husband has picked up a habit where he puts his hands down his pants and either rubs on his balls or his ass crack and then smells his fingers as well as sucks on them afterwards too. Plus at night I hear him making sucking sounds to lubricate his finger and sticks it in his ass. We have sex every night and he comes. I’m just wondering is that normal.We also just lost our 16 year old daughter to murder. So I’m wondering if that’s just his way of dealing with the grief. Or is there more too it.
