Is it normal to have strong feelings for your mother-in-law?

I've been married for a several years and I've always felt like I had more in common with my wife's mother. Our personalities are much more alike and over time I have really begun to have strong feelings that seem inappropriate given the reality of our relationship. Before you jump to conclusions, know that it isn't sexual attraction - I can't really even imagine her naked. All the other stories on here revolve around a sexual desire, but I sometimes wonder if my mother-in-law is a better match for me than my wife.

Is it normal to fall in love with your mother-in-law? And then what do you do about it?

    well it's not really normal but if your just having feelings you might see her as a really close mate. if you had these feelings why did you get marrid or were they after you got marrid? <BR>it's not normal but you can't help who you fall in love with. <BR>i'm not marrid but i am in love with my boyfriend and i see us together forever i've not had feelings for anyone else while i've been with him so you must be finding this really hard to be around her and your wife at the same time...
