Is it normal to have strong feelings for a girl i've known 2 weeks?

The gist of The story is this, a new girl started at work 2 weeks ago. She seems really nice, she's funny, a good conversationalist, she likes to work, she's always smiling (alot like me in every respect) she really brightens up a room and She seems to be the only girl I've ever met that I can feel at ease around and not have to be someone else. I've not asked her out as I'm not exactly sure how (I just don't want to mess it up) but is it normal to feel really strong for someone you've known two weeks? That your not even dating? I just feel like I want to romance her like in a movie is that weird?

Well, wait for a minute. First off, you know nothing about her. Second, she WORKS with you. If she says no, how awkward will that be? What if she reports you for sexual harassment and you lose your job? Or, what if you do date and break up? What then? You need to consider all of this and more before you ask anything.

I don't think she will be scared if you ask her.. It's normal.. I think you just are infatuated with her though not so much feelings.. Tomorrow isn't promised.. Ask her be casual about it don't seem too pushy.. Like an above comment said tell her you are going to a restaurant and invite her be friendly and see how things go.. She can't hate you for being friendly..

Probably get to know her as a friend more before you try asking her out - otherwise you might scare her off.

I think maybe you should just casually ask her if she wants to go to lunch or dinner after work. Like, "hey I'm going to chilis for lunch, want to go?" something like that.

I know it could go that way but I think as long as I don't do or say anything silly it won't. I think I'm Guna leave it a week or so before I ask her out, I don't want to put any pressure on. Any ideas as to how I should do it would be appreciated :D

I think you're infatuated with her... Probably because she's so awesome like you said. But remember this, tomorrow is not promised, so live life for today. Don't miss an opportunity u might regret later. Let us know what happens when u ask her :-)!!!!!!

If she's an easily likable girl I see why it would be normal to have strong feelings for her.
