Is it normal to have stomach pain after drinking?

I don't drink very often. Normally, I just have a drink or two with dinner when we go out. I like to try different drinks, but certain types of drinks (after only having one) makes my stomach burn to the point where I have to throw it up, or be miserable. It isn't a drunk sickness. For example, vodka, margitas, and mixed drinks such as the hurricane makes
My stomach hurt so bad. I can handle beer, coffee type drinks (bailey's, kahlua), malt beverages, etc. I hate it, mixed drinks
are so good!

Do any other foods cause pain? You should see a dr. for that if it persists.

  • I don't really know what to say except maybe it just is that certain alcoholic drinks cause your stomach to hurt. Or it could be something to do with the stomach acid.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.
