Is it normal to have so much fun crushing garbage?

Does anyone else enjoy putting their foot down in the garbage can and crushing the content down?

I always let the trash can of recyclables fill up, and when I come home from work on garbage day, I walk up to it, put my foot on top of the whole pile and press down. I love to hear the crushing sound of containers and boxes getting twisted, mangled, and flattened under my weight. Usually I will also take the bag out of the can and stand on it with both feet, to make sure all the content it well crushed.

Sometimes I also do it elsewhere too. Last week I was helping a friend bring in some shopping. While she was gone to the bathroom I was in her kitchen unpacking things. When I remove the lid from her trash can to throw more stuff in I saw that it was full with boxes. I lifted my left foot, put it on top and pressed down. I had a rush as I heard and felt all the stuff she threw out getting crushed under the sole of my sandal.

The same thing too earlier this month, I was arriving home very late and the garbage truck hadn't pass, so the neighbors' garbage bags were still lined out along the curb. While still wearing those same sandals, I slowly walked through the whole line-up of bags. While doing it I stepped on a empty milk carton and I heard it pop loudly under my right foot. I got such enjoyment from that.

It is the feeling of destroying things under my feet. They're all things that are getting thrown out anyway, so I just get one last bit of fun out from them. I can't be the only one who feel and act this way.
