i am a straight man, and i seem too meet many women that are lesbians today? i had tried to start a conversation with a woman that i wanted too meet very much, but she was very nasty to me. i was very attracted to her, but then her girlfriend or wife came over to me and said we are together, and then i kind of figured it out right away. with all these type of women out there now, i can certainly see why us straight men will have a very hard time meeting a straight woman for us today.

    If a guy i dont like (which isnt often) chatd me up or flirts with me i say im a lesbian just to get rid of him, have you ever thought thats what these woamn could be saying to you

    No more than there was at any time, I think its just more acceptable now to be gay. I would assume that the percentage of genes causing most gayness has actually stayed near the same.

    I used to use that line to get guys to leave me alone. Even if other girls wer like, man you haven't had a bf in a while. I'm just like "Meh, i'm a lesbian" Your being avoided O.O

    Anyone who thinks there are more lesbians now is almost definately incorrect. The only difference, is now people can have a lesbian relationship without the risk of being stoned to death. And as other people pointed out, alot of women use that line to get guys to stop hitting on them.
