My husband and I have been together for several years, but now he's been wanting to try something new. We have experimented with raw vegetables and different meat products like sausages and so forth. I'm ok with experimenting with food in the bedroom ,but my husband keeps on insisting that we eat the food after sex. I'm a little grossed out by the thought of it ,but I want to please him. He keeps reassuring me this is normal and with enhance our relationship. Is this normal?

    It's clearly a fantasy for him, and food in the bedroom is his fetish.

    It's nice that you want to indulge him, but he has to respect your boundaries too. If this is one step too far for you, then you need to let him know. It's not going to enhance the relationship if he manipulates you into doing something you find disgusting - and then expects you to continue doing it. Sex should always be enjoyable for all involved.

    As to its normality - it's not that normal or common.

    This is the result of watching too much porn. You watch too much porn of girls sticking strange objects into their bodies, you're gonna start thinking that it's normal. Sure it may be arousing to see a girl shove a golf ball up her butt and then putting that same golf ball in her mouth. But when you try something like that in reality, you're just asking for some serious STDs. I say, get your husband off the porn, and get him some help. I mean it's one thing if he asked you to dress like Princess Leia from Return of The Jedi when she was in that sexy slave outfit. But shoving food into your body and then eating it is really asking for some serious health complications.

    I doubt it's "normal", but then again you also shouldn't care if anything is "normal". Normality is but an artificial construct of society, and should not be considered a goal in and of itself.
    If you'll enjoy it and it doesn't hurt anyone, go for it.

    He should not be forcing you to do things in bed that you do not want to do. If you do not want to tell him no you are not comfortable with it. If he can not respect your boundaries he does not deserve to be with you. Secondly eating food you just came on sounds horrible unhygienic and I can not see why anyone would want to after. Its not enhancing anything if you are forced to do sexual acts you do not enjoy or care to take part in. You are going to get annoyed one day and just not want to do it anymore or be near him. Though food fetishes are something some people have. Just be careful you do not hurt yourself with the produce.
