Is it normal to have seen ghosts?

Is it normal that ever since I was three I have either been subjected to paranormal activity or have seen ghosts.
In my current house, a 5 year old girl had died of Leukaemia in one room of our house, and her father killed the mother (by crashing on the motorway)because of his insecurities about his daughter dying. (inbetween 1950-1980) As a 3 year old,I was placed in the room where the 5 year old girl died, (unbeknownst to my parents) 3 years old to 9 years old, I had troubled sleep and constant nightmares of childrens footsteps and possessed stuffed animals,. even when I was awake strange things occured, and being a child, my parents didnt believe that there was anything wrong until my older brother stayed in my room and experience something paranormal: We were both woken up by my stuffed lion (which is about 6 ft tall with wooden eyes) stuffed onto the window sill with the curtains covering it. obviously it wasnt there before. After that night, my brother told my mother something was seriously wrong with my room. My mum found out the history of the house by her mother (who bought the house off of the people who's daughter who'd died)
(The dead girls mother had actually locked my grandmother out of the house after she'd bought it and refused to leave the house.)
My mum was shocked by the history of the house and so had the room exorcised. A lock of my hair was placed in the room of the dead girl when I was 9 years old, and I never had paranormal activity in my room again... not the whole house.
Nowadays as an 18 year old, I have seen bandaged feet in my room (another room, not the dead girls room) I have 'walked' through someone in the hall way, and I have even seen a vivid lady standing behind my mother with I was 11 years old. I have seen disappeaing hikers in the cemetery and a man standing in our bathroom. Apart from that I have thousands of orbs around me in photos and none of my friends in the same photo have orbs around them. Is it normal to have seen and experienced things like this??

  • My mother saw a ghost once and so did the work colleague she was with. She was working in a nursing home and as they were walking along the corridor, she said she saw a almost skeletal hand close the door but the way it closed it, any real person would have jammed their fingers.

At that point, she turned to her friend and they both said "Hand."

I honestly believe my mother, she is not the fanciful sort, she barely ever day-dreams and she doesn't even believe in ghosts, wicca or any supernatural phenomenon.

Normal. When I was little I used to see shit all the time, and I would tell my parents about it, but they would never believe me. But it was the truth! I even had weird stuff happen to me physically. I used to feel like their was a force that was holding me down when I was in bed. I would hear voices, see thing, I kid you not! This happened many nights. I haven't had it happen to me since 2 years ago. All this crap just mysteriously stopped. I had to talk to a psychic about it. I started praying every single night. I became ten times more religious then I ever was. You are not alone.

I don't believe in ghosts despite living in a church which is haunted and in which I have both seen and heard things. I've also had candles knocked over (loudly). If I (a) don't speak vocally about the ghost and (b) don't light candles, he pretty much leaves me alone.

As I said, I don't believe in ghosts and presume there is a logical explanation for this. I just don't have it to hand.
