Is it normal to have recurring dreams

Every time I hve a dream, I'll have it multiple times. Like for a few weeks I'll have the same dream over and over, but not quite the same thing but the same people and general thing happens. It's extremely puzzling because when I have a new dream I have it over and over. Is that weird?

    i had this as a child but not lately id say it is nothing to worry about unless they are disturbing
