Is it normal to have problems getting a girl?

I haven't had a problem getting a girl ever before. I moved about two years ago and I was over weight. I got in shape, lost 50 pounds and thought I'd get a girls more easily looking hotter. Cute guy plus in shape. But it has not gone as planed. I seem to have the hardest time now. I can't understand it. I was better off fat. XP Are women intimidated or something? I've always been told I'm a good looking guy even when I was over weight.

    sounds like me, i was having the same problem i was started to question my looks, my attitude, but what i found that works, is just be yourself

    and go out places with other friends and make sure there i chicks, i was on a dead streak for about a year, i was so pissed..

    then i went to a party and me and this chick hit it off and just started makin out. your day WILL come

    I no longer have this problem. Turned out I suffer from deppretion. Once I started a Med my life had totally changed. I have no problem talking to girls now.

    I can imagine the problem being one of two things:

    1. Being in better shape will have given you excessive confidence, to the point of having an arrogant look in your eyes. Girls hate arrogant guys. Cocky/funny, yes; arrogant, no.

    2. Because you're in better shape, you probably make more effort to look your best when going out, possibly overstepping the threshold and appearing you have tried far too hard. Take your image down a notch if this is the case, and look more natural.

        ...girls don't love arrogant guys. At least no self respecting girl does anyway. I know I don't. That arrogance gets annoying quick. Please don't make an effort to be an arrogant dick just because you think girls like that, most don't.

    Well I can not say I know where you are coming from since I was skinny most my life. I not sure what to tell you though. Do you act like you did before you got in shape or did you change somehow?
