Is it normal to have problem with erection while cheating?

About a month ago, I cheated on my girlfriend with my classmate. I like her and she is really attractive, but when came the moment, I just couldn't have a boner. While kissing and touching it was OK, with no problem, but then it was terrible to "make it stand". Finally I succeeded, but it wasn't perfect and it was awkward for both of us (she taught she don't attract me and I felt embarrassed that I failed). Have this ever happened to you?

    yes. Since i already outed in another thread that i have some experience on the matter: Happens to several guys when cheating. mostly it's a matter of general anxiety, nervousness, pressure(trying to impress)...on the whole: a cocktail of stuff that is not exactly positive to maintaining an erection.

    while i _LIKE_ cheating(flames to the other thread, please), you should ask yourself if thats REALLY what you want...or rather, for what reason you decided to cheat on your girlfriend. It seems your mind is not as convinced of you having done the right thing as your dick wanted you to believe when the option presented itself.

    It just means you're not a completely selfish asshole, enjoy the fact that you have some decency and some sense of morals enough to make you question yourself in a situation you shouldn't be in.

    I really wasn't feeling guilty, but myself probably was. I wasn't nervous or so on. One friend of mine call this "men's safeguard" (sorry for maybe wrong word, it's from translator;) ). I really hope I will train my mind to be immune to this. Thanks for you opinions.
