Is it normal to have pain during sex?

I haven't had sex a lot, only like 5 times, anyways my first and second time were horrible, in fact, I've only had one time when it didn't hurt, so I was wondering if that's normal, or if something could be wrong?

If you're female, then yes, I've heard it's a normal thing. If you're a guy, I'd go to the doctor and get checked out.

it depends what kinda pain you're referring to. i know that almost every time my boyfriend and i have sex it hurts because he is so big... but if it's like a burning then that probably isn't good. i lost my virginity 4 years ago and it still hurts when he first enters me a lot of the time.

It hurt me for the longest time too when I started having sex no joke for like a month, so pretty much 30times but I just basically dealt with it cus I knew it would get better &it did. I guess Lube would help &also go on top it really hurts less cus you're in control &the guy isn't all rough&shieeeet you know(; hope I helped.

Yes, it hurts in the beggining, when you've had sex for the first time,
when i sucked my girlfriend's pussy for the first time, she yelled like
shit, even when she began sucking my dick, it wasnt paining,
    bt it was feeling weird.

Well I haven't had sex in about 2 years, so I don't know if it will be better when I finally do have sex, I guess I'll just wait and see. Thanks for asking!

It may be normal, it may not be normal.

Some girls report having pain for a bit after their first times. Most of the time it's only once or twice and it is due to the normal tightness of a virgin.

Sometimes other things can happen that cause pain. One example is that some girls have extremely flexible hymens. Even through sex the hymen can remain intact. This can cause pain. A doctor can cut the hymen and fix this problem

It might be that he isn't lubed up enough. You should look into it.

yeah, more lube. If you don't "moisten" a lot, you really do need lots of it. and have him put a little on the tip of he knob before he inserts. I'm a guy, and I have found this necessary with almost every girl (and guy) i've been with. Size has some to do with it, but girth might have more. all that rubbing and pressure. It can make a person uncomfortable. Just tell him he's "so big"...he'll do anything for you at that point! :-) we all will.

It's not burning pain, it's like.....I'm not sure how to explain it, hopefully it won't hurt every single time for the rest of my life, that'd be awful!
