Is it normal to have only friends that are girls?

It all started in Kindergarten.. I've always loved to be around girls! Guys are just so mean and ignorant! My parents are always nagging me to get some guy friends.. I don't want any.. I love my girls! I'm a straight guy, so don't think that I'm gay. I just love to be around girls! Is this normal?

Totally. I mostly hang around girls only. You should feel special to have girls as friends. Sometimes you will have a nice girl friend who you never would dream about being with, but one day as you both grow older, she might start to be attractive to you, and you might have a better chance of getting with her because she was/is your friend ;) It happened to me :)

The vast majority of my friends are girls. I have to act a part when i'm eith my guy friends so its nice to be myself eithouy any reservations.

This is exactly why being on the ''Friend's Ladder'' isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's pretty much proven that around 50% of women want to be friends first, before they even date the guy. Have as many girl friends as you'd like, because you never know one day.

  • Well if you are straight and have a bunch of girls that are friends let me say "congrats" its nice to have friends that you can enjoy a friendship with and enjoy the view as well if you know what I mean.

That being said dont be surprised if you end up one day getting really hurt by one them since you develop feelings of more then friendship that are not reciprocated at all.

Also you do realize most guys would automatically assume you are gay with a bunch of girls as friends and not a single guy "friend" right? Nothing wrong with being gay, I am just saying.
