Is it normal to have not been on a date in 4 years.

I have not had a date in 4 years. I was in a relationship that ended badly as I was getting sick. I almost died and lost part of my leg. After that I was not interested in dating for the next year. For the past 3 years I have asked girls out but I have either been shot down immediately or stood up. Even blind dates have never happened. I have a 100% failure rate. Is it normal to always get rejected?

Not morbidly obese, female, and over 18 but less then 35.

I think that is a broad enough spectrum of women that any 23 year old can find someone willing to go on a date. And yes I have asked out every woman that I have been able to strike up a conversation with.

I guess I should have been more clear on the loss of leg thing, half of my shin bone was removed and a new piece of bone put in its place. As long as I wear pants no body can tell.

I only ever think about never getting a date when I get stood up or someone brings up that they heard of me dating, or when friends get married (most of them met their SO after my last relationship ended).

  • my advice is this.
as hard as it is try and laugh it off or at least joke about it and smile alot.
most girls like amusing company and it is refreshing for someone not to feel sorry for themselves. hope it helps good luck
