Is it normal to have no pubes at the age of 31?!

I am 31 years of age and nearing 32, the only thing is i have no pubes.
I have never shaved/waxed down there, i have just left it hoping to sprout my own forest, but it has never happened. I have had sex and seem to have orgasmed and seem to function properly but i have no pubes!!!
Im not sure whether this is a good thing, or do i need to buy a furry animal?
HELP!
