Is it normal to have no love interest at 15-18?

I was chatting with my friends at a Starbucks last Tuesday. They were talking about their girlfriends they had back in in highschool, while I was quietly contemplating the SHEER DELICIOUSNESS of the pizza pretzel (best invention ever) I was currently, and generally enjoying. One of them turned to me and asked "Hey, didn't you have any girlfriends during your years in highschool?" I nearly choked about a minute later. At no point in my life had I actually have a crush on anyone, not even a fondness for any of my classmates! I got up and bought 3 IBC Root Beers, thinking how much I would loved to get drunk without the hangovers and dead braincells at that moment. Is this normal? I was the guy in the background I guess, but I still have good qualities! And at what point does a guy generally develop feelings for a woman?

    Just wait, eventually someone may catch your eye and then you'll be interested in that person. I think everyone has to go there own pace when trying to find someone, I didn't think I was going to ever find anyone but when I turned 18 I did and got married with that person and have been ever since. If you enjoy being single then stay single.

    Nope. When I was in high school I didn't find myself attracted to many people. Once I hit like 19 tho, I started falling for people and such and such. I think its because you realize everyone in H.S is so stupid.

    Don't worry :D I was the same way! The good things about people like us though is that once we DO find that person we fall in love with we will NEVER cheat! lmao cuz really, it took us HOW long to find that one person? I Am NOT about to find another one! LMAO :D too much work

    Lol you are hilarious (the way you told that story was great) :) but as for no gf at all through hs I guess it's normal for some people. You probably just had other things going on.
