Is it normal to have no desire for a relationship at all?

all i really care about is sex. i hate the idea of keeping a woman around long term. i'd rather only have sex occasionally with a random woman than go steady with a woman for a long time with consistent sex. i have no desire to love or to be loved all i care about is sex. i'd like to have children one day but i have no desire to marry. i'd take care of my child financially of course and emotionally as much as possible but i cringe at the idea of marrying and settling down with a woman.

am i damaged in some way?

I don't believe you are damaged. There are some people who just don't want a relationship.

It's called being a bachelor. You're not required to have long term relationships or marry or anything. My man and I are in a long term relationship, plan on adopting kids but no plans to marry. To each their own.

  • it's understandable. A lot of men have this fear of commitment. It's because of these poisonous women who are walking around these days, akting like they own the place. All they want is marry, have a kid, divorce, get the house, child support, and your soul on a fucking plate. Fuck them and leave them!

it's not so much a fear of commitment, i just don't have a need for one. furthermore i feel that i have wayy too many insecurities as a man. i'm also genuinely disturbed in a lot of ways and wouldn't want to dump this burden on a woman.

and yes, the fact that modern american women cheat so much doesn't help either...it's ridiculous how easily most women will cheat on their boyfriends (they've cheated on husbands with me)

Nah, there's nothing wrong with preferring this lifestyle. In fact, I think a lot of people would be better off living like you.

I must warn you that there's some social stigma attached to sleeping around, but IMO there's nothing wrong with it.
