Is it normal to have never had a decent length relationship?

I'm a 29 year old man and throughout the years I would of had over 15 relationships, the longest one lasting 3 months. I find most of them last only 3 weeks. Women in that time have said they loved me, I have had alot of them buy me expensive gifts, like jewellery. But they always seem to have a change of heart. Only a couple of times I have broken it off, the rest of the time the girl has broken it off with me.
I'm reasonably good looking, I've always had a job and I have plenty of friends. People say I'm a good person with a good sense of humour.
Is it normal to be at my age and to have never had a proper relationship?

Honestly, it's starting to seem abnormal if you've had a functional, long relationship in your 20s.

It's strange to have had SO many short-term relationships, and no long-term relationships.

So I would say 'not normal'.

However, what causes your relationships to end in under 3 months is something we aren't in a position to answer. We don't know you or the girls you are entering relationships with.

    • It's not strange, I've always liked a bunch of short term relationships. Keeps away the boredom you eventually feel in a long term relationship.

Who's weird, I'm not fucking weird, shut up, maybe, get off my case, I like you, fucking son of a bitch.

You are going after the wrong girls. The type of girls who just date to date and have fun, and keep things interesting. And once the honey moon phase is over, they kick you to the curb.
Or you are rushing into relationships with people that you shouldn't be. You just jump right into the water immediately, instead of testing the waters by getting to know them as friends first. Which is 100% of the reason why most relationships fail. People start dating each other, more or less the day they meet them. Instead of getting to know each other's true selves as friends. And not basing your desire for them off of the fact that they are showing you all of this love and affection.

My first/only serious relationship lasted a year, and we rushed into things way too fast. Only to realize at the end, that I hated everything about her, and I now have a long list of deal breakers. But when I first met her, she immediately expressed interest in me, and gave me love, care, and attention. And at the end, I realized that those were the only things I even liked about her.

We're not getting the full picture here. I feel it's abnormal for someone to have had so many relationships, so short. More details please.

Giving gifts to early can make you look like a physco, I'd say that's what is.

It would be weird to be in America and not have so many short term relationships

You just sound unlucky......Where do you usually meet these people? Maybe certain types of people are confined to situations where you have to drink to hook up.
