I am 19 years old and I have never had a date. I have always been labeled as the wired kid in school so i never really socialized with that many people. I had a mindset that I not the person that had no business in socializing. It is demonizing thinking that I have never had a first kiss. I guess that is the person I have to be.

    I can relate to this post on so many levels.As a person who was cast out and labeled a "creep," I have acquired a different perspective on dating. The way I see it, I never got a fair chance to meet women. School is a social jungle and I've always been at the bottom of the chain, thus women have never really noticed me. However, I truly believe that there is someone of the opposite gender who is in your current position. Someday you will meet that girl, but not if you keep treating yourself as if you're unworthy of love. Everyone deserves happiness and I think you will find it soon. Love won't let you get away.

      yea this and really if you are always looking for it, most likely you won't find it, in the meantime be yourself, be happy, than when life gives you those lemons, squeeze the hell out of them... (figuratively unless they really want them squeezed that hard) :P

    I can relate as well... I've always been the outsider everywhere I've been, and not just because I've moved a lot in my lifetime... but because I was considered "weird" (which used to be an insult, but now I wear it proudly)
    For my entire 6th grade year, I sat by myself at lunch every day. And those tables could seat 14 people.. everyone would rather sit on each others laps or share a table than sit with me... I don't know what it was about me, but nobody wanted to be around me..
    Point being, I'd never really had a "real date" before or my first kiss, even though I had had a few boyfriends.. It was only just recently that I had my first real date and first kiss (even though we're WAY past first kiss.. more like 65th kiss) and that all being at the crazy age of 18... I used to hear about most people having their first kiss at 16.. And I was always super jealous..
    But I think it's normal.. My brother is 20 and just got hi first girlfriend... so I'd say it just depends on when you're ready..
