On topic, eveyone has different moods or voices in their heads telling them to different things (the process of a decision is choosing which one to listen to) the only difference here is that she has put names to them.
Only the very severe cases of personality disorder do not realize that they have them.
Most people have minor forms of "disorders" and they are often over-diagnosed as well. Some examples include O.C.D., A.D.D, A.D.H.D., Bipolar Disorder, etc.

i do talk to myself a lot.. but again, a lot of people do..
well i do have imaginary conversations with people, that aren't present at the time..
also, in some situations i feel like i have to explain myself when i'm alone. for example if i... you know, then i feel like i have to explain that it's normal.
i mean, have you seen that movie "Truman show"? kind of like i knew i was him, and want people to understand.

My girlfriend has 3 personalities. But one of them's a dude - we're best buddies when 'he' rules over.
These personalities can be harmless. They just make it difficult for you to be constant and accept you into their circle. In a way, my girlfriend admits she's crazy - but it helps her see things in different aspects, (and besides, her personalities swing from generous and unsuspecting to quiet and gothic, that's sexy IMO).

Are you blacking out between the personalities? People with multiple personalities have blackouts and the personalities dont remember what each other does. They can sometimes tell that they have this disorder due to the obvious black outs, but they never remember what each other does. If you can remember what each personality does, then you have just assigned names to your moods. If your blacking out between personalities, then you probablly have actual multiple personalities.

ive always heard that in most people with multiple personality disorder, the host personality is clueless and has no knowledge of the others. one or more of the others also tend to be more dominant.
Seek mental help and quick.! Some day you and your "friends" might end up being dangerous and hurting someone.
