Is it normal to have morning wood when your in a tent with friends?

Once my brothers and a friend were sleeping in a tent in my backyard and I was accused of having a boner when I was sleeping. One of my brothers accused me of this but said it was gone once he woke my friend to look. Since it "magically" disappeared I'm not sure if I did even have morning wood. So if it was true, IIN?
