Is it normal to have minor visual hallucinations when drunk?

If i stare at a white wall when I'm drunk, i will see little, flickering, multicolored pixels covering the wall. It's a fairly minor hallucination, but I never noticed it until after I started experimenting with hallucinogenic drugs. I'll also notice the same "flickering" with my eyes closed. Is this normal, or did I mess up my mind with drugs?

    Could be a blood pressure thing, Or a brain tumor.

    my pee starts looking really interesting when ive been up all night drinking, like slow motion all shiny, flickery and stuff... I think youre ok.

    How drunk are we talking? if you're consuming very large quantities of alcohol delirium with visual hallucinations is normal.

    I sometimes get that too. Mine looks like a very colourful fractal which drifts to the right (and doesn't disappear when I close my eyes). At times, it's meant I couldn't read what was on a monitor for up to 20 minutes. I really need to see a neurologist.
