So I ended up marrying my god sister.She stop having BF's for a while because she just thought man were all the same.I was really closed to her for a time and we both just went on with our brother and sister type of relationship.She really had so much confidence in me and she will tell me all her problems,etc.We got to a point where one night I went over to her house to watch a movie with her and just have a nice conversation with her.She then confessed she had feelings for me and then gave me a kiss.We ended up cuddling and then our parents knew nothing about it and we ended up marrying each other years later without any of our family members knowing.I know it's not mega weird because we aren't blood related, but I was just wondering.We are happily married now and have 1 kid together.

    Isn't a god-parent like a Catholic thing where your parents friend is like your second parent? (Correct me if I'm wrong) if that's the case then I say it's totally acceptable. It's not like you're actually related.

      God mother or Father is another family not related to you by blood that will take care of you if one of your parents dies and you have no one else looking after you. From what I look up if one of your God parents has a kid that is your God Sibling.

    God relatives are not real relatives they are meant to be there for you if one of your other relatives die. So its not that strange. Like a God mother is meant to be your mother if your real mother dies. From what I looked up if your Godmother/Godfather has a kid its your god sister. So I dont see anything wrong with you guys being together. You are not actually relatives.
