Is it normal to have lumps around your nipple?

I've noticed that around my nipple, i have small and medium sized 'lumps', what are they? I've tried googling them, and yahh, it's described whats going on in the boob region, but mine don't like squeeze stuff out or whatever?
Help? (:

  • Fat cells, or muscle ridges...maybe a tumor if it feels like a pebble, but it sounds fine by the way you describe it

Everyone has these. It's just texture. As long as they don't ooze stuff they are pretty normal. If they do ooze stuff it might be an infection or pimple

Don't listen to that herpes jerk. You don't have boob herpes.

But get used to it, especially if you plan on having kids. Whether you breastfeed or not, those bumps get bigger.

What they actually do is secrete a lymphatic fluid to keep the nipple area clean and supple when your milk comes in after you have a baby. The idea is to keep the baby healthy.

I've had three children and not only did all those pores get huge and stay that way, but I blew out a couple of my milk pores right on my nipples and now there's, like, a hole in my nipple.

When I showed them to my doctor, that's what she told me about it. It's normal and there's nothing wrong with you.
