Is it normal to have loved the same person forever?

I love this girl who says she only loves me as a friend. Ever since I first met her in kindergarten I've loved her. But now she is constantly going through boyfriends usually a month at a time but even so I have never stopped loving her. Is this normal? That someone who will love her forever gets less of a chance then someone she knows she'll eventually break up with.

It's happened to me. I've never stopped loving my ex from when I was 14, I'm 20 now and it sucks.

Maybe you "love" her because she is unattainable, on the other hand perhaps it is real, and she is simply not ready to accept this level of commitment.

Question how old are you now? If your still young believe me you will get over it I thought the same thing with a girl in in jr high. You will forget about it till some other girl sparks your interest.

I have the same problem as you! She liked me once but now we're just "good friends". She always tells me about the new boyfriends she has every few weeks but she never considers me! I no its difficult but you never know, maybe we'll get our dream girl some day!!
