Is it normal to have long distance friends?

Well I have like 3 long distance friends even if I know I will never see them I still chat a lot with them and I can talk about anything to them unlike my friends here. Is it normal? I mean am I crazy cuz I talk with ppl I never met and I will never meet?

    It's normal. I have friends that I met thru games. I talk to them almost everyday. :)

    Yeah, my best friend lives in the us and I live in Canada. We've been best friends for 6 or more years now.

    I don't see anything wrong with this because it's hard to find people you can trust. The Internet allows us to meet more people than we would if you live in a small town like me haha.

    of course it's normal. i have long distance friends too. my best e-friend from Indonesia and I plan to meet someday :)
