My parents are divorced and my mother is a lesbian married to a woman 15 years older than her. Is this common? Because whenever I tell people they always say that they've never heard anything like this?
It's not that common, but I think it's normal.

Depends what you mean with normal, it is not common, but it is not that un-normal.

My boyfriends mom is a lesbian. She had three kids with his dad before they got divorced n she got "married" to another woman. The woman died a few years ago but his mom is still dating and stuff now. Its definitely not a common thing to happen but i love his family to death, his mom is one of the sweetest most loving parents i know, regardless of her sexuality and to me thats normal :)
it's normal. lots of people come out after they have tried traditional relationships.

I think it's normal since it's a possible scenario for everyone on the planet. It's just less probable... I think.
Your mother being lesbian shouldn't affect you.

Nothing wrong with it. Having a lesbian mother is hot. You can also come clean and talk more open about stuff.
Very very common. I'm a lesbian and I'd say at least half of the other lesbians I know share the same situation as your mother.
