Is it normal to have leg pain and a general leg weakness?

I am young and have, ever since the age of around 7 when my knee was hyper extended, have had leg pain and general leg weakness. My knees bend backwards and some people are freaked out by it. I've gone to the doctor and they prescribed physical therapy due to a muscle imbalance. I don't do a lot of sports and I'm not particularly active either. The weakness is a bit of an unsteadiness and the joints in my legs pop whenever I move. Are there a lot of people who go through this kind of pain at a young age?

Not being active probably contributes to the weakness. I have a back injurtybwith referred leg pain, and if I don't keep up exercise and strengthening, it gets bad. It really is vital management to do whatever yoir therapist gives you to do.

Probably not buddy. Keep up the physical therapy though.
