Is it normal, to have insanly vivid, lifelike dreams?

I have some pretty crazy dreams. Some of them most of us have had, from being publicly humiliated, to scared out of our wits. But is it normal to actually LIVE your dreams? I've had dreams that have had me living in fear for years, and some in heartbreak because I left such bliss. My mind has made creatures so real that I FEEL the actual tearing of a tooth, claw, or nail. It has made me fall in love, and lived happily for years with a woman, even grown old. Sometimes I awake before pain or pleasure sets in, sometimes not. Sometimes I don't stop realizing its a dream until I am OUT, and even then I wonder for a day or two... is it normal to have such depth in your dreams?

One time a guy in my dream punched me in the jaw, and I filed assault and live my entire life knowing he was in jail. Then I woke up. When I was little I would wake up thinking I was almost 20 years older than I was because of how vivid my dreams were. I don't remember many things from my childhood because I wasn't old enough to distinguish reality from dreams sometimes. And webMD thinks I have schizophrenia... Lol

My dreams are like that too. I can taste, feel, touch and everything in my dreams. Mine are hardly different from reality. I had one where I was being repeatedly stabbed and it hurt like hell.

I've been stabbed quite a bit, though it's usually some fucked up horrific monster my own mind created.

Yes, but it is a sign of having extreme stress in your waking life. I personally suffer from vivid dreams during and just after stressful times. It depends how long you have been having vivid dreams too? They should last a couple weeks maximum. If you have been suffering from them for a while, you may want to look at your problems and attempt solving them in your waking life.

No I didn't. Because the very most majority of times vivid dreams are a result/sign of psychological stress.
Dreams have meanings. They are trying to tell you something, especially vivid ones. He/she mentions ones that are particulary scary too.
Yes, it is certainly normal to have a vivid dream ONCE in a while but when it happens often, most nights, it is NOT normal. That's a cry for help.

You're such a blind fool. I bet you want everyone to have an "ideal personality" too.

I think you're taking this a bit too far by calling me a fool... To be honest that's not very nice. But if you want to pass yourself off as a person who throws out insults then go ahead.

Yes, but even the good ones? They match the bad tit for tat.
