Is it normal to have impaired vision during an upsetting time?

My family moved to a new town and I had to start a new school. I was so upset. During the first couple weeks of the move my vision was seriously impaired. Not blurry, but as if I was looking through a tiny square peephole, I couldn't see too far up, down, right or left. My life/my brain was never the same after this.

      My vision was only like that for a couple weeks and I suspect it was psychosomatic. Also this happened a few years ago. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
