Is it normal to have gray hair at 18?

I don't have any but my friend does. He's only 18, but he already has a lot of gray hair. I think he get's it from his mom because she's only in her late 40s I think but her hair is almost bleach white now. Personally I think it looks really cool.

Grey hair looks really cool. I wouldn't dye my hair grey, but I wouldn't dye it back if it went grey by itself, if that makes any sense. I wouldn't call it normal, but it does happen to some people.

My mom and sister have had a birthmark of grey hair since they were infants. My mom is now a salt-and pepper mix. My 80+year old grandmother has medium brown hair with like one gray hair in it, and had never died her hair. I think it's normal.

My brother's gone grey - after his 4 kids! But, it has aged him terribly so my mom got him to dye it for my younger brother's wedding. I don't know if he's kept it up but he was delighted when people asked which of the two of them was the youngest.

Loads of guys I know darken the grey down - especially if they're single!

  • Not common, but definitely is a genetic thing that happens to some people

  • My older bother has alot of grey hairs and he started getting them when he was eighteen. My brother has anxiety attacks which is probably the reason for his grey hair.
