Is it normal to have grainy or noisy vison?

For as long as I can remember, I've been seeing grain or a "noise" effect over my vision like when you see static on a TV. It's not black and white.. it has a little tint of color to it.

It's constantly moving and more visible on plain surfaces and in the dark. It's not so intense that I can't ignore it, but it's definitely there.

It could be a b12 deficiency. It's happened to me before it really sucks :(

LOL oh the funny things going through my head!

Is this permanent? This usually happens when you're over-tired, your eyes start playing tricks on you, maybe mention it to an optician?

You can now buy mini ariels that fit in your ear, maybe you're just losing signal?! I'm so sorry I couldn't resist

    • It's always been there and I'm usually not tired.. I didn't mention it to my optician because I'm bad at explaining things and I thought it would bring unnecessary tests or something.

Hmmmm if you're worried about it maybe you should just mention it. There's a lot on google about it; just type in "Grainy vision" or "visual snow", hope this helps!

So you have a noisy vision, maybe your eyes need an oil change
