Is it normal to have full conversations with people who aren't there?

I was born and raised an only child so as many children have i had imaginary friends while i was growing up. but now that I'm an adult I still talk to imaginary people only there are people i actually know in real life. for example, i will get upset and i will pretend a coworker is with me in my room and i pretend that they are comforting me and telling me what i want to hear to make myself feel better. I even fake kiss them depending on who they are too.

Bored mind and active imagination. As long as you don't hear them talking back to you.

OK then. You're a fucking fruitcake. Nobody else has done this ever.

Think of it as a rehearsal. I do that sometimes. I run a mental simulation of the things they are likely to say and then come up with witty and sarcastic replies to keep as verbal ammo.

You are in serious danger of going crazy! Get help now before it is too late. Run, don't walk, to the nearest psychiatric center and commit yourself. Hurry, hurry!
