Is it normal to have feelings like this about my girl friend?

I've been friends with this girl for a year and a half now. She's in college and I'm still in high school and there's a three year difference between us. I'm also a girl. We call each other sisters and I really love her. But I always get nervous and my face gets red when ever I see her/text her. Whenever I think of love, I think of her. Like a love song on a radio comes on, I'll think of her. I always want to be with her and wanted by her. But i don't have any sexual feelings towards her and I know I'm not gay. I hope this makes sense. Is this normal though?

    I've also never have dated anybody. And I'm currently crushing on a guy. I need more feedback guys, I'm a little worried. I've never heard of this before either, so.

    You have a girl crush, I've heard of this happening an a friend of mine was the same but she's not gay either, she's married with kids now
