Is it normal to have feelings for inanimate objects?

I keep having emotions for inanimate objects.
Just today, I saw a Cherry Blossom Tree in bloom. I decided to take some flowers from it. Almost instantly I felt heavy regret, It was almost as if I pulled them from there family. I couldn't put them back so I just secured them in my pocket, zipped tight. Another example, I started nibbling on a chocolate I didn't like.. I half ate it but then I put it away.. I felt sorry for it, I tried to eat it and pushed myself to eat it in the morning. However, it's still sitting there to this day. Same for that old bacterial wipe. I would feel sorry for food I didn't want in the menu. I would feel sorry for a plush toy that is ignored or sitting in the playground.. all alone.
I also find it hard to throw away things, only in groups so they don't feel alone in the hard journey... :(. Please help, is this normal?

Are you the same one who always posts on this subject or are there a multitude of people whose emotions run rampant for inanimate objects?

OMG! There's this show called My Strange Addiction where they showed a guy who was in love with his blow up doll, and another who was in love with his car.

I'm in love with a Texan and a Siamese cat, there's something incomparable about living beings.
