Is it normal to have feelings for an anime/graphic character?

So just like the title I was just wondering if it's normal to have a crush or something on an anime character or graphic character? Because I think some boys from specific anime (like Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail) are adorable and I kinda have these strong feelings for them. <333
Do you think that's normal? Do you have the same thing sometimes? It doesn't have to be anime, maybe a character from a cartoon or a graphic character??

    Sure why not.

    People fall in love with characters all the time whether the are portrayed by real people or anime/game/cartoon characters.

    Just remember though they are not real and they are made in a certain kind of way.

    I've grown fond of 'Vash the stampede' from trigun and Spike from Cowboy Bebop. I think its totally normal to swoon over fictional characters. Its better than being disappointed by the real thing :p

    Normal. As a kid, my crush was Gohan from Dragon Ball Z.
    Then for a short time, it was SpongeBob.

    I think everyone goes through it..bt when you're an anime fan, the attraction to characters feels like it's staying forever XD.
    As a kid, I liked Trunks from DBZ, and Marik from Yu-gi-oh.
    I think the reason is characters sometimes seem to have very little flaws compared to normal people. looks especially .o.
