They scare the crap out of me. On day I went and the walls were covered with bio hazerd signs
I was in and out of hospital as a kid but haven't been since, unless to visit. But if I had to staff over night I would think about all these people who died. I bet there are loads of spirits. I'd be glad of all the noise to le me know some nurse or doctor is in the halls.
Hmmm... I actually enjoy going to hospital's to visit people and stuff, plus I work at a hospital. I feel kind of comforted when I'm there, because I know that if for some crazy reason, something happened to me, I would be in the perfect place for it to happen... a hospital. I feel safe.
Maybe... it will help you to crush your fear by taking a visit to a hospital that's near you, and do it daily, and see if you get so used to it that you don't care anymore.
Actually, I understand why you wouldn't like a hospital. I mean, it can be sad to see all those people who are there that are very sick. My mom used to tell me she hated to go to the hospital. It can be a very unpleasant place. But remember that most of the people who are working there, are there if ever you need them in an emergency. If you ever get hurt, it's the best place for you to go.
You might just be subconsciously worried that you'll end up there in a bad way.
I've said this on another post, but it's just so weird how we're afraid of places that are fully equipped to save our lives in every circumstance. Like the ONLY place to go after you're injured and you will be cared for is scary.
What happened when you were 10? Whatever it was it' probably the reason behind your fear.
But yeah it's normal. There's something about hospitals that make me squeamish.
