Is it normal to have enemies?

Sometimes I make friends but further down the track, I fall out with them. Occasionally, it's a massive falling out. Is this normal? How many enemies per decade of adult life is normal?

  • I've become enemies with almost every person I've ever met.

They say "hold on to your friends" but this is crap. The world is full of people, you can just make new friends over and over again.

Friends, lovers, crushes, these people are 100% expendable. Don't believe me, try it.

  • I've had enemies my entire life, from kindergarden/grade school,to now.Too many to figure out/count.The worst was when I was living in the street, and several times when I was employed.

No. Maybe it just means that you're not as fu$%ed up as most people. Maybe you had loving parents and grew up in a home without conflict. Maybe you don't have an aggressive or arrogant personality like many people do. I would like not to have any enemies. But I have a strong personality that some people don't like. I have also had some good fortune in my life that some people are jealous of. But that's just an excuse, I guess. There are many highly fortunate people who are loved by all, like the pastor at the church where I grew up.

It has been said that you can judge someone by thier enemies better that by their friends.
