Is it normal to have dry skin after showering

I can't remember the name of the lotion that my mother uses, but she has the same issue and can't use any but moistening ones.

this happens to me in the winter. the soap dries out my skin. i use lotion and baby oil.

This used to happen to me a lot, use lots of lotion!

It's normal.

Make sure you dry yourself gently with a towel, then moisturise the areas that are typically dry or itchy.

Perhaps you have well water. Just apply lotion after your showers and the itching should stop. If it dosent, seek medical help

My skin gets dry, and occasionally itchy. Use some lotion.
