Is it normal to have drunk parents

Is it normal that my parents went clubbing all night abd came home drunk at 12:30 am when me and my sister are 13 and 8 years old?

It's not normal at all. They shouldn't be doing that. If it makes you and your siblings uncomfortable than it is a problem. That is really horrible and irresponsible especially if they have an eight year old. Tell a counselor at school for the sake of your sister.

Mine used to do that. If you didn't have a babysitter then it's obviously irresponsible and they should get a grip but if you did have a babysitter then it's ok, your parents are allowed abit of fun now and then.

Ok leaving a 13 home alone maybe but a 8 year old? Also it is not responsible for them to go out clubbing and getting drunk and neglecting the children.

My parents never did that when I was a kid. Work work work was their fun.

12:30 isn't all night. That's barely an evening out. And good for them.

However if they are drunk all the time and constantly leave you alone to go play, then that's a different story.

Do they do this all the time? If so then no.
If this is something they only do every once and a while, then yeah it's normal.

How dare they not sacrifice their entire lives for their kids? How selfish!

They are perfectly entitled to go out and get drunk on the weekends or whenever, as long as they didn't leave you by yourselves and don't do it all the time. And 12.30 is not late.
