Is it normal to have dreams about peeing, only to wake to a wet bed?

This almost happened to me last night, and fully happened when I was about 17. I just have these super vivid dreams where the most memorable part is trying to pee in a "dream toilet" but ACTUALLY PEEING! I even convinced myself that I wasn't dreaming, in my dream...but pee still didn't come out, thank goodness. So I got a plastic sheet...but it crinkles =(. Does anyone else deal with this ever?

    Happened to me once, I was half asleep and I pictured/dreamed myself walking to the toilet. I tried flushing the toilet, opened my eyes and realised, I peed in the closet. It was a one off thing... well I hope :(

    Perfectly normal i'd go 2 a doctor uu might have a weak bladder me and my mum both have it her during the day and me at night try not to drink anything about 3 hours b4 bed makes it less likely to happen gd luck xx

    The last time I pissed the bed was in Elementary school and it was almost exactly like you said. Saw a urinal, pissed, felt myself getting warmer and woke up soaked. I've actually had a few similar dreams, but I haven't pissed myself then, just woken up and made a bee line to the toilet.

    I used to have that condition a few years ago and thank god it stopped. It was because i used to avoid urinating for a long time and at a point your muscle that is right under your bladder just gives in and relaxes letting the urine escape. so an advice don't hold your pee in and make sure you use the bathroom right before bed time :)

    I used to often dream about going to the toilet in a dream and when I woke up after that I had to go to the restroom... but I never peed in the bed...

    It's your body telling you have to pee by introducing it into your dream in some sort of way. Same thing happens with wet dreams... Evil brain lol.
    Perfectly normal.

    I have pissed the bed and all over my room more times then I can remember. Always when drunk though.

    I once dreamt I was about to use the toilet on a big red London bus and I don't remember if I followed through or not.
