Is it normal to have dreams about an old teacher?

I cannot figure out this dream - it is especially weird because I feel like it signifies my ADHD because the dream hops around too. I need someone to help me decode it because I can't think of anything...I just know I'm going to automatically be judged!

If you don't feel like reading then you can just answer the question: is it normal to have dreams about an old teacher whom you haven't been in contact with???

I start off at this place with a waterfall then someone I can't remember chases me to the cliff and I almost fall off. My old teacher saves me. This is a teacher who was very nurturing to me 6th-8th grades...but I've never had contact with since then (going on maybe 6/7 years now).

Now here is where my ADHD theory comes in because the dream switches to a convention hall - right by St. Basil's Cathedral in Russia (this part I understand because I study Russian). Everyone is trying to figure out something - I just can't remember what it is. I know my old teacher knows what it is, and he is hiding it. Chaos breaks out, and at the very end I tell him that I can see the lies, and that I was basically disappointed in him. I walk away.

Last scene in the dream - again, if it isn't a testament to my ADHD, I don't know what is. My friends and I are watching the stars (Really, really vivid point in the dream, I was on cloud 9!) and a monster comes up, attacks us, I'm almost dead - old teacher saves me, I wake up.

I don't understand all of the different scenes, or why he has to play such a role in each one.
Should I be seeing a doctor because I'm crazy or something?
